Hank Shermann

Danish guitarist. He started playing guitar in Copenhagen's punk scene, but moved toward heavy metal. He performed live for the first time as a member of Brats on July 28, 1978. Following the breakup of Brats in 1981, Shermann, along with the band's vocalist Kim Bendix Petersen (soon to become [a=King Diamond (2)]) and guitarist [a=Michael Denner] formed Mercyful Fate. Although Shermann has remained a member of Mercyful Fate, he has played with a number of other bands and is a music producer and songwriter.
