Hans van Hemert

Singer, producer and songwriter, born 7 April 1945 in Voorburg, Netherlands. Died 7 October, 2024 in Blaricum, Netherlands.

Active since the mid-1960s, he occasionally recorded as a solo artist but mostly worked as a producer with artists such as [a=Q65], [a=Mouth & MacNeal], [a=American Gypsy], [a=Luv'] and many others. His biggest success as a songwriter is probably [a=Kamahl]'s [i]Elephant Song[/i] (1975).

Son of [a=Willy van Hemert], brother of [a=Ruud van Hemert] and [a6489302].
