Hans Bathelt

German drummer and percussionist from Cologne in the Krautrock era.

Barthelt was co-founder of [a124405] in 1969 and played drums in the band. He was with the band for the first four albums, where he contributed the most lyrics. In 1976, he and [a371352] got into a serious conflict about the style of the band. While Fritz wanted to evolve into a more mainstream-like sound, as their record company suggested, Barthelt wanted to stay independent.

This led to a complete change of line-up by Fritz. Barthelt left the group and the music business due to this.
