Randy Phillips
Randy Phillips (b. 29 March 1954) is an American music manager and executive producer from Los Angeles, California, president of LiveStyle label (ex-[l=SFX Entertainment]) and former [l2075596] president. Phillips graduated from [l=Stanford University] and [url=https://discogs.com/label/1034838]Santa Clara University[/url]'s School of Law. He began a career as a talent scout, working for [l=MCA Records] in the 1980s and other notable labels. Subsequently, [a=Arnold Stiefel] hired Randy at his [url=https://discogs.com/artist/1948061]talent management firm[/url], where he became a name partner within the first year, after landing contracts with [a=Billy Squier] and [a=Prince]. Stiefel and Phillips worked extensively with [b][a=Rod Stewart][/b] for many years. They were [b][a=Prince][/b] managers between November 1989 and December 1990, producing [i][m=388666][/i], which earned them a "Worst Picture" nomination at the 1991 Razzie Awards. They also organized a critically acclaimed [i]Nude Tour[/i] in Europe, the UK, and Japan. Co-founded [l=Gasoline Alley] with [a=Arnold Stiefel] in 1992.
