The Roommates

American vocal group from Queens, New York, group members included [b]Steve Susskind[/b] (lead), [b]Jack Carlson[/b] (first tenor and falsetto), [b]Felix Alvarez[/b] (second tenor) and [b]Bob Minsky[/b] (bass). The group overdubbed the harmony parts and were co-credited as artists along with [b][a=Cathy Jean][/b] on the 1961 hit, "Please Love Me Forever" (which hit #12 on the Billboard pop chart in early 1961). [b]George Rodriguez[/b] joined the group around 1962. The group disbanded in the Spring of 1965.
