Born in Frankfurt in 1971, Ralf Hübner received his first violin lessons at the Frankfurt Music School with Ljubomir Alexandrowitsch and then with Günther Simon (RSO Frankfurt).

From 1992-1998 he studied at the University of Music in Würzburg, majoring in violin, with Prof. [a=Klaus Lieb] and graduated with an artistic diploma. This was followed by postgraduate studies until 2002 with Prof. Helfried Fister at the Carinthian State Conservatory in Austria.

Ralf Hübner is a prizewinner of the Chamber Music Academy competition and the Musical Night Award and also teacher at the music school in Bad Homburg.

After orchestral activities in the [a=Junge Deutsche Philharmonie], the Stadttheater Bielefeld and the [a=Nürnberger Symphoniker], he is now first concertmaster of the [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/960875]Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt[/url], a crossover orchestra, with which he has toured with [a=David Garrett], [a=Deep Purple], [a=Peter Gabriel], [a=José Carreras], Sarah Brighton, [a=Chris de Burg], [a=Jethro Tull], [a=Robin Gibb], [a=Uriah Heep], [a=Deine Lakaien], [a=Nena], [a=Dick Brave] and many others graduated.
