Rita Andrade

Violist from Austin, Texas, currently working as an orchestral and studio violist in Los Angeles, California. Andrade is the original violist of the Austin-based chamber rock band Mother Falcon and a founding member of the ATLYS String Quartet. She was also a member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and the Chicago Sinfonietta.

Andrade studied viola performance for her bachelor’s degree in music at the University of Texas Butler School of Music and finished her masters at DePaul University.
