Tim Nichols

Tim Nichols (born in Portsmouth, Virginia) is an American country music singer and songwriter. Nichols has written for several country music singers, including [a=Keith Whitley], [a=Tim McGraw], [a=Faith Hill] and [a=Alan Jackson (2)].

He and songwriter [a=Zack Turner] recorded one album in 1993 as the duo Turner Nichols. Nichols, along with [a=Craig Wiseman], earned a Grammy Award for Best Country Song in 2004, for McGraw's #1 hit "Live Like You Were Dying".
