He is the founding member of Axis Trio and [a=Dawn Of Midi]. Axis Trio's second album Anthem, which was entirely composed by Amino, was voted 4th greatest jazz album of 2010 by Jazzit Magazine.

He also plays traditional Moroccan folk percussion.
