Richard "Dick" Lee Peng Boon (born 24 August 1956) is a Singaporean singer, songwriter, composer and playwright. Lee released his debut album, Life Story, at just 18 years old. It was not a commercial success, but while subsequent albums generated minor critical acclaim, his sixth album, 1989's The Mad Chinaman, marked his commercial breakthrough that earned him success throughout east Asia.

In 1992, Dick Lee married Singaporean jazz singer and actress [a3644040]. The couple divorced in 1997. Lee is also known for his tenure as a Singapore Idol judge, and as spokesperson for the New Asian generation.
