Molly Drake

English poet and musician. Born as Mary Lloyd on 5 November 1915. Died on 4 June 1993. She was married to [a=Rodney Drake] and was the mother of the musician [a=Nick Drake] and the actress [a=Gabrielle Drake]. Molly was probably an early influence on Nick, because she played the piano and wrote songs herself. She once composed a whole suite of children's songs for Nick and Gabrielle.
