Thomas Tol

Dutch producer, composer, musician and songwriter. Born November 5, 1950 in Volendam, The Netherlands. Joined [a=BZN] in 1969 alongside his brother [a=Cees Tol] who was a member since the start around 1965. He left the band in 1988 one month after his brother Cees also left BZN. Together they formed the duo [a=Tol & Tol]. Please DO NOT use this duo PRIOR to their start as a duo in 1989. For [a=Jan Smit]-related credits (2002-2013) please also use them as duo. For [a=BZN]-related credits (prior to 1989) please use both brothers SEPARATELY.

Also brother of [a=Marie Tol]/[a=Maria Vamvakari], and uncle of Marie's sisters [a=Corina Vamvakari] & [a=Gella Vamvakari]. The three formed [a=The Thesalonikis], which did all the backing vocals/choir on Tol & Tol albums. Father of [a=Kees Tol]. Brother-in-law of [a=Στέλιος Βαμβακάρης] (his sister's husband).
