Anna Wilson

Singer/songwriter Anna Wilson straddles the genres of jazz and country. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, she moved to Nashville, where she and her husband, [a659427], have worked as songwriters. She has had cuts on albums by [a1454264], [a300597], [a248124], and [a110245]. Wilson's debut album, The Long Way, released by Curb Records on August 5, 2003, included her song "The Bus Ride" (co-written with [a688371] and [a255433]), which was recorded by [a751502]. Wilson's second album, Time Changes Everything (2007), earned kudos from jazz critics. She co-wrote "All I Ever Wanted," a Top 20 country hit for [a1254176]. On October 7, 2008, Transfer Records released her Christmas collection of all-original songs, Yule Swing! Next up was a series of jazzy duets with the likes of [a693435], [a320518], [a223131], and others for an album called Countrypolitan Duets, which appeared in 2011.
