Winston Wright

Jamaican pianist and keyboard player born 5 Septmber 1943 in May Pen, Jamaica and died 18 March 1993 in Kingston, Jamaica.

He began to record in the mid 60's, appearing on many rocksteady tracks for [a=Arthur "Duke" Reid] and other producers. After the success of [a=Harry J. All Stars]' "Liquidator" in 1969 he then worked for [l=Dynamic Sounds Studios] in the early 70's and was part of [a=Toots & The Maytals] touring band from 1975.
