Jerry Cole

Jerry Cole (September 23, 1939 – May 28, 2008), born Jerald Kolbrak, was an American guitarist who

recorded under his own name, under various budget album pseudonyms and as an uncredited session musician.

Jerry was a showman with his guitar as well as consummate professional sight reading musician

and innovator with the guitar instrument.

During the 1960's was his most prolific time in recording with various outfits of his own, being a sought

after studio musician for pop music (the Wrecking Crew), as well as other media such as broadcast TV live and canned.

The width of his talent is very unique, from producing heavy surf sounds, a rockabilly hall of famer

to being a key musician on "Pet Sounds",

to fronting a post Van Morrison incarnation of "THEM...

Jerry's basic rig consisted of : "He had a custom built Strat which was 3/4 size and just looked like a little shrunken black strat."
