British-born American songwriter and producer from Billericay, England. (1939 – June 2026).

Started music career in early 1960s in England, relocated to the U.S. shortly afterwards, active until late 1990s. With [a=Dennis Lambert], he co-wrote such hits as "One Tin Soldier" by Coven, "Ain't No Woman (Like the One I Got)" by the [a=Four Tops], "Don't Pull Your Love" by Hamilton, [a=Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds] and "It Only Takes a Minute" by [a=Tavares] - and produced [a=Player (4)]'s "Baby Come Back" and [a=Glen Campbell]'s No.1 album "Rhinestone Cowboy."
