Eric Burdon & War

Multi-national R&B / Latin funk group, based in Los Angeles, California (USA). Evolved from a group of musicians previously known as [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/2910660-The-Creators-6]The Creators[/url], The Romeos, [a=Señor Soul] and Nightshift, playing the L.A. club circuit. They were discovered and promoted by [a=Jerry Goldstein] who linked up the musicians with frontman and vocalist [a188393] and harmonica player [a327676] Levitin. They released their first album in 1970. After Burdon departed in 1971, the group continued performing and recording as [a9707]. Eric Burdon & War came back together in 1976 for a final, third album.
