Robert Becker

American violist, born September 21, 1950 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Robert L. Becker developed a prestigious career as a viola performer and instructor. Becker is a co-founding member of the American String Quartet and has taught at the Aspen Music Festival for 15 years. He has recorded with artists such as Elvis, Babyface, Linkin Park, and Radiohead. Becker has also worked on film and television scores.

Becker's performance credentials include principal violist for the Pacific Symphony Orchestra and Opera Pacific Orchestra.
