American drummer & percussionist. Born 10 July 1943 in Lehighton, Pennsylvania, USA.
He moved to New York City and performed with the [a=Al Cohn - Zoot Sims Quintet] before becoming a sought after studio drummer. [a=Paul McCartney] contacted him in New York City and, after auditioning him, asked him to London, England to join him and [a=Linda McCartney] on work they were doing and this would lead to him becoming a co-founder of [a=Wings (2)] with the guitarist and singer [a=Denny Laine]. After leaving the band in 1973, he eventually moved to Los Angeles, California, USA.
Married to [a=Monique Seiwell].
