Guy Nsangué grows up with the hits of [a=James Brown] and [a=Kool & The Gang]. After starting out as a guitarist, he started out as a bassist in the 80s, rubbing shoulders with zouk, jazz and African music. Influenced by the playing of [a=Marcus Miller], [a=Francis Johnson] and [a=Abraham Laboriel], he makes his bass sound very rhythmic in the albums of [a=Kassav'] ’(Difé), Eddy Louis (Multicolour Feeling) and Jean Luc Ponty (Tchokola). “It was a very African album with [a=Brice Wassy], [a337395], [a=Abdou Mboup] and me. We all collaborated on the composition. Everyone put their ideas and we composed live in the studio ”.
