Carl Radle

American bass guitarist.

Born: June 18, 1942 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Died: May 30, 1980 in Claremore, Oklahoma.

He was a member of the groups [a=Gary Lewis & The Playboys] (mid-1960s), [a=Delaney & Bonnie] with [a=Eric Clapton] (1969), [a=Derek & The Dominos] (1970) and [a=Eric Clapton And His Band] (1974-1979).

Recorded with countless musicians of various musical styles, such as [a=Dave Mason], [a=J.J. Cale], [a=George Harrison], [a=Joe Cocker], [a=Leon Russell], [a=Buddy Guy], [a=Freddie King], [a=Rita Coolidge], [a=Bob Dylan] and [a=John Lee Hooker], among others.

He was posthumously inducted to the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame in 2006.
