American songwriter and violinist, best known for co-writing the song "Whispering" with lyricist & brother [a1001585] (as originally credited in 1920).

(Later when the copyright was renewed, according to John Schonberger, the lyrics were not written by Malvin Schonberger but rather [a645323] was credited as the lyricist, and [a645324] was added as co-composer).
