Thies Mynther

German musician and producer, born February 26, 1968 in Bubenreuth, West Germany.

In the late 1980's, he was based in Essen and became part of the cassette scene there. He founded the collective [a235593] and moved to Hamburg in 1991. There he joined the "Hamburger Schule" band [a181951]. He was additionally guest musician in a couple of bands in the "Hamburger Schule"-network.

In 1996, he joined [a70455] and in 1998, he co-founded [a39030]. At the same time, he was part of the executive team of the Hamburg-based [l321584]. In the 2000's, he additionally co-founded [a26961] and [a67150]. Together with [a13797], he was part of the producer and remixer duo [a4860].

Eventually, he put the focus on composition in the field of music, theatre and movies.
