Chino Mariano

Chino Mariano is the artist name for Franco Enzo Carl Mariano.

Swedish guitarist, born 23 February 1955 in Stockholm

He began his career as a dancer and studied at the Opera Ballet School, before getting a job at Dramaten as a 14-year-old. As a 16-year-old, he abandoned dance and switched to playing guitar full time.

He has been a member of bands such as Forbes, Zkiffs, (with Björn Skifs, Mike Watson, Lasse Wellander and Peter Milefors), Stockholm All Stars, Little Mike & The Sweet Soul Music Band and more. Chino Mariano has toured and worked as a studio musician for a wide range of popular artists. He has also recorded a lot of film music, including several films by, among others, Lasse Åberg, Magnus and Brasse and Björn Skifs.
