Heikki Savolainen

Heikki "Hessu" Savolainen is a Finnish sound engineer, sound designer, producer and manager, active from 1982 onwards.

Savolainen took [l=YLE]'s sound engineer course in 1984–1986, and was hired by YLE's music production department. During his time there (1985–1996), he worked as an engineer and producer in a number of music, radio play, and external productions. He worked as a sound designer for [l1685081] during the summers of 1983–1994. In 1996, he became the chief technical officer of the radio station Radio City. After 1998 he moved on to establish [l274771], and during 2001–2011 he was part of the [l278543] complex. He also has worked as a part-time teacher at the [l530083] and [l1085714], as well as done live mixing for various artists.
