Troy Lancaster

A guitarist born in Italy and raised in Virginia, studio musician Troy Lancaster has created guitar parts for artists and songwriters for over 40 years. At age four, Troy was playing 45s on the family console stereo, where he listened to R&B, rock, soul, and other popular music. Self-taught, he picked up the guitar at 13 and honed his skills playing in live bands. Troy moved to Nashville in 1986 and was nominated for ACM guitarist of the year in 2014.
