Lead vocalist, trumpet player, songwriter and producer from California, now based in Las Vegas. Former lead vocalist for [a=Kool & the Gang] and the [a=Dazz Band]. Before those groups he was part of the East Wind Band.

Not to be confused with the jazz saxophonist and arranger [a=Skip Martin] (1916-1976).
