Gini Ball

British violinist, singer and composer, born Virginia Hewes. Sibling of [a=Martin McCarrick]. Was married to [a=Dave Ball].

Graduated from the Royal College of Music, and formed punk classical group Humoresque with [a=Anne Stephenson], and later [a=Brilliant Strings] with Stephenson and [a=Sally Herbert].

She has worked with Siouxsie and the Banshees, Marc Almond, Soft Cell, Psychic TV, Mike Hedges, Bernard Butler and The Manic Street Preachers.
