American folk-rock musician (various instruments, saz, dobro, bouzouki, vin, oud, dulcimer, guitars, doumbek, vocals etc.). He was a founding member of the psychedelic-folk rock group [a=Kaleidoscope (3)]. Born David E. Scaff to his mother Mary in Pingree Idaho, he never knew his father, but was told it was a young Hungarian Roma musician. His mother later married Harry Feldthouse, whose surname Solomon adopted. He's the father of [a3140158].
