Pete Sears

English rock musician. Born on May 27, 1948 in Bromley, Kent, England, UK. Member of [a=Jefferson Starship] from 1974 to 1987. Before that, Sears worked as a professional musician in the United Kingdom from 1964 to 1974, recording, doing TV and touring the British Isles with many bands including [a960717], [a366310], Sons of Fred, Fluer De Lys, Sam Gopal Dream, Steamhammer, and Jade. From 1969 to 2021 Pete recorded and toured with artists based in the U.K. and the USA, including the 4 early classic Rod Stewart recordings, Long John Baldry Blues Band's first US tour, Jimi Hendrix, Ron Wood, Leigh Stephen’s & Silver Metre, Stoneground, Copperhead, Jefferson Starship for 13 years, Jorma Kaukonen, Hot Tuna, Dave Alvin, Jack Casady, Los Cenzontles, Dr. John, Michael Falzarano, Jerry Garcia, Nick Gravenites, Warren Haynes, John Lee Hooker, Flaco Jimenez, Steve Kimock, Rich Kirch, Leftover Salmon, Phil Lesh, Los Lobos, Louisiana Love Act, Harvey Mandel, Eric McFadden, Moonalice, David Nelson Band, North Country Astral All Stars, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Chris Robinson & The Green Leaf Rustlers, Peter Rowan, Katie Skene & California Kind, Steamhammer, Bob Weir, Zero, ...
