Robertson was based in New York City for 10 years and from 1998 to 2004 was an independent engineer at Unique Engineering / Unique Recording Studios. As of 2008, he relocated to Tempe, Arizona where he opened full production recording studio Fire Power Music. He also started the label Blabbermouth Records.
