Ludovic Halévy

French author, playwright and librettist (1 January 1834 - 7 May 1908).

As librettist, he often worked in collaboration with author [a=Henri Meilhac] and with composers [a=Georges Bizet] ("Carmen") and [a=Jacques Offenbach].
