José Antonio Méndez

Cuban singer, songwriter and guitarist, born 21 June 1927, died 10 June 1989.

Composer, guitarist and vocalist. He was one of the founders, at 40's, of "Filin". Songwriter of emblematic works of the Latin American songbook, his work is internationally recognized.
