Mikko Syrjä

Finnish musician born on November 15, 1957 in Tampere, Finland. He is best known as the guitarist and main songwriter of [a381585]. He has also worked as producer.

As a lead guitarist, Pantse Syrjä is the principle composer in a songwriting partnership with his lead singer brother Martti Syrjä in Eppu Normaali. He originally collaborated with the early main lyricist and bassist Mikko Saarela until his departure in 1979. Syrjä is also known for his playing alongside the band's rhythm guitarist Juha Torvinen.

Pantse Syrjä is also known for working as a producer and recording and mixing engineer. He often worked for the music label Poko Records which Eppu Normaali was also signed to.

He is the son of [a1171483], the brother of [a495247] and the cousin of [a495243].
