Sanctuary Vibez

Romell Bennett, better known professionally as Sanctuary Vibez, is a SINGER/ PERFORMER/ SONGWRITER, born in the beautiful island of Barbados and grew up in the eastern parish of the island, in St. John.

At an early age he began to develop an appreciation for rhythm and music, this appreciation later matured after secondary school when he began to hone his skills as a singer, entering singing competitions and performing at various functions locally.

After being introduced to Machel Montano in 2006, Sanctuary Vibez was given the opportunity to observe Machel in his songwriting and recording process, but it was the advice of the soca king that struck a chord with him and compelled him to start to take his craft of songwriting seriously which result in him writing multiple hit songs for various artists around the Caribbean. Sanctuary Vibez has several writing credits with some of the caribbean most celebrated artists, including Edwin Yearwood, Farmer Nappy, Alison Hinds, Destra Garica, Michael “Mikey” Mercer, biggie Irie, Mr. Dale, Denise Belfon, Blood and Terencia “TC” Coward. Some of those songs went on to win some of Barbados Crop over Festival’s biggest titles.

With those numerous accolades to his name, Sanctuary Vibez has now fully branched out as a singer/performer in 2014. There are no signs of him slowing down with various projects currently in the works, Sanctuary Vibez is intent on expanding his audience and taking soca globally.
