Chocolate MC
Cuban rapper and reggaeton singer, born 17 February 1991 in Havana, Cuba.
Chocolate MC got his start in music before the age of sixteen when he started writing songs. But it was not until this age that, thanks to his songs popularized by [a=Adonis MC] and El Jhona (whom he considers his teachers), he became known.
His song "Guachineo", released in 2015, which has more than ten million views on YouTube, became a worldwide phenomenon, thus coining a new concept of rhythm and dance.
In January 2017, he achieved his dream of arriving in the USA at the hands of Pacheco Entertainment. That same year his controversial song "Mi Palón Divino" (which reached ten million views on YouTube) hit the charts among Cubans inside and outside the island despite its lyrics loaded with rude expressions related to the sexual organs.
In 2018, he covered "El Necio", one of the most popular songs of the Cuban troubadour [a=Silvio Rodríguez], to which he gives his reparto interpretation.
He has two gold records: one for his hit "Bajanda" in 2018 and another for the song "A Veces" as a duo with [a=Lenier] Mesa in 2019, that reached more than fifteen million views on YouTube. He also has the silver YouTube button for having more than hundred thousand subscribers.
In 2019, the reggaeton singer stated in his Facebook page that he would launch a clothing line that would be called "Chocolate MC" and whose images would be related to the covers of his albums as well as his hit songs.
He is the father of four children.
He became a newborn Christian since 13 May 2025.
