mica
mica’s story didn’t start on a stage... it started in the shadows of the Bronx, where sirens hummed like background vocals and brokenness felt inherited. Raised in a Dominican household, he grew up juggling culture, chaos, and a hunger for meaning nothing around him could satisfy.
Behind the jokes and late nights, his soul was collapsing. Suicidal thoughts became action... three attempts that nearly took him out. An overdose almost ended the story. Lust, substance abuse, and the party-animal lifestyle only numbed the pain while pulling him deeper into the dark.
Yet even there, God was scripting a different ending.
Poetry became a lifeline. Bars became a refuge. What began as raw scribbles to survive the night turned into a calling that refused to let go. Gospel rap became the lens where he finally saw redemption instead of ruin.
mica raps like someone who’s touched the edge and returned with evidence. His sound is Bronx grit fused with spiritual awakening, honest confession, sharp delivery, and a faith that doesn’t break. Each verse reveals the war he lived through: the mental trenches, the spiritual fights, the rescue that rerouted everything.
Now, as a gospel rapper and psalmist, mica stands as proof that Christ doesn’t just save, He rebuilds. mica represents the Kingdom, the culture, and every soul that once felt too far gone.
mica isn’t here to look polished. He’s here to show what grace looks like when it walks through the Bronx and refuses to die.
