Eduardo di Capua

Italian singer and songwriter. "O Sole Mio" composer.

Together with [a=Vincenzo Russo] he also wrote songs that are considered real milestones of the Neapolitan song: [i]I' te vurria vasà[/i], [i]Maria Marì[/i], [i]Torna Maggio[/i] and [i]Chitarrata[/i].

Born: 12 March 1865 in Naples, Italy.

Died: 3 October 1917 in Milan, Italy (aged 52).
