Don Cannon
Donald Cannon (born August 2, 1979) is an Grammy Award winning American DJ, record producer, and record executive who served as Vice President of A&R at Def Jam Recordings from 2012 to 2014. With DJ Drama, he is the co-founder of the record label Generation Now, an imprint of Atlantic Records that has signed artists including Lil Uzi Vert and Jack Harlow.
As a record producer, Cannon has produced singles and albums for high-profile music industry acts in hip hop and R&B Jay Z, Jeezy, Ludacris, Outkast, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Playboi Carti, Rick Ross, T.I, Nas, 50 Cent, Jack Harlow, and Eminem, among others. Cannon has contributed to 16 Grammy Award-nominated albums, winning two Grammy Awards in 2024. Cannon has sold over 90 million records worlwide to date.
