The Flexican

Dutch-Mexican DJ and record producer from Amsterdam, North Holland.

Born 11 October 1983 in Mexico City to a Mexican father and a Dutch mother, Thomás moved to Amsterdam, Netherlands in 1992, together with his brother and mother, settling in the Buitenveldert neighborhood in the South of Amsterdam. In 2004, he formed the group [a=Flinke Namen] together with his long time friend [a=Sef (3)], who were then joined by [a=MC Fit] and [a=Murth the Man-O-Script] a year later.

In 2008 he released his first mixtape 'Op Volle Toeren' (English: At Full Speed). In 2013, he produced the hit single "Watch Out for This (Bumaye)" together with [a=Major Lazer] and [a=FS Green] which featured Jamaican dancehall artist [a=Busy Signal]. His stage name stems from the fact that "he is of Mexican descent and is also very flexible in his work" (in reference to his eclectic style).
