Guitarist and Vocalist born in 1954 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

He grew up on Ferndale St. in Northeast Philadelphia and played and toured with [a361997] of [a131970] fame.

His interest in the guitar started at age 11 by playing rock n' roll with his friends before he discovered jazz and studied under the guidance of the great [a357709].

He moved to Los Angeles in 1976 and recorded three albums for [l33994] during the late 70s and early 80s which have been sampled by popular beatmakers [a1548485], [a16508], and [a5578482].

Died in 1999 from liver cancer
