King Baganda

King Baganda, real name Patient Chirhuza, is a multi-talented Congolese musician, hailing from Bukavu, in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Raised in a family of 9 siblings, King Baganda says he left his parents’ home at an early age to start selling Sumbusa and Mandaazi on the streets, to earn money to pay school fees for himself and his sisters.

A singer, songwriter, poet, and guitarist, King Baganda says he has over time faced several challenges, although that didn’t stop him from pursuing music, which is his passion.

Although he started singing as a child in church choirs in Bukavu, King Baganda contends that his life changed for the better years later when he joined the music industry as a professional artist specializing in Amapiano and Afrobeat music.

Currently signed under Musoni Music, King Baganda, who is also a skilled barber, has since kicked off a very promising music career, with his debut single titled ‘Monica’, which features G-Wills.

However, besides ‘Monica’, King Baganda has several songs he is working on in the studio some of which include; ‘Nicha Lewa’, ‘Kolokolo’, ‘Fimbo’ and others he is set to release in due course.
